I’m a graphic designer, who runs a little design agency that works with photographers to develop their brand. I spend all day looking at other people’s photos which leaves me itching to grab my own camera. Alright cameras. I own quite a few including a ‘big camera’ (Canon) and a motley collection of old film cameras. I know how hard it is to juggle running a business and running a family. It can get the better of the best of us, which is why I take lots of pictures, mostly of ordinary, everyday moments. If I waited around until we were all clean, tidy beautiful, I don’t think I’ve ever take any.
I’m lucky to live in a beautiful corner of Cornwall with my husband and two girls, where our life by the sea really inspires me. When I’m not taking photos, or building websites, I spent a lot of time at the beach, walking, paddling and sea swimming and messing about in boats. I feel like there are never enough hours in the day to complete the 101 projects I want to do, but nothing pleases me more than tucking myself away in a corner, with my camera and snapping away when sharing time with friends and family. Life doesn’t get much better than that.
