I'm a portrait and wedding photographer who specialises in honest, bold, artistic photography that captures and celebrates real character, spirit, emotion and individuality. My images are inspired by my love of people and their stories, and the most important thing to me is for my photography to have personality, soul and energy. I want my photographs to be little slices of the lives of the people I photograph; as real, unique and distinctive as they are.
I'm based in Manchester, where I live with my surf-loving husband, hilarious chatterbox of a 9 year old son Joe, noisy newborn son Huey and daft softy of a greyhound Freddie. We love to be by the sea and escape the city as much as we can in our campervan (Red Les), often to the beautiful Anglesey, which we consider our 'second home'. When I'm not taking photos I can usually be found reading too many books (and obsessively arranging them in colour order), wearing too much chunky jewellery, writing too many lists, waffling too much, buying too many rugs, getting far too excited about stationery and eating too much food. Family and friends are everything to me, and nothing pleases me more than doing all these things with these guys by my side.
